I think that whole 'tude rep that people have tried to lay on the 'giest is bullshit, it's just people who are used to having their ass kissed by wait staff, or 'cute' girls who are used to flashing their boobs and getting special favors from bar guys, who are all cranky that they don't get treated special at Zeitgeist.

I don't expect the 'tenders to be my buddy in ANY establishment, as long as they serve fairly and don't ignore you to talk to their friends, I'm fine with it.
They have never fucked up my order, and the beer is always properly served, and that's all I ask.

Also, Zeitgeist is kinda scruffy, so if you're the kinda person who has to worry about scrubbing down a table/bench before you sit down, it's not your kinda place. Just don't wear your nicest pants there. It's a casual hangout place, not the f'ing Marina.
