If you do like those beers though, there has got to be a "more quality ingrediant" beer that tastes similar......
lots of people must love those particular beers, because they are on draft everywhere ... -

I don't think its so much that people like to drink bud, budlight, its more availability and expense. Like you said, its everywhere, and its usually cheap.
My vote for worst beer ever: Natural Light. It tastes more like water than Bud light even, and thats hard! -

I don't think I left any out. And it's not because of convenience or cost for me, it's because I don't like that stron bitter taste like say Bass. -

Wed, January 25, 2006 - 5:57 PMI hear ya LilS! I don't really go for the strong hoppy taste either. I stay away from anything described as 'hoppy' like IPAs and most other ales, noteable exception being brown ales. I stick to lagers mainly. The occaisonal stout and belgian beer. Ummmmm Belgium!

Thu, January 26, 2006 - 7:29 AMMy favorite way to drink cheap hoppy beer is to make a shandy - mix it with lemonade (to taste, but I prefer 50-50). I'll drink anything that way, since you taste the sweetness & lemon more than the beer & the bubbles are nice.
It's a good way to use up that beer that your guests brought to the party and you don't know what to do with it cuz you're sure as hell not going to drink it straight and there's only so much beer bread you can make. -
